The London Puma, created and established by Romina Puma. The first show occured on the 12th of January 2012.

Romina created this night in order to entertain the Italian community in UK with something a little different.

The aim is to introduce the UK style of stand-up comedy, into the Italian culture, which is more accustomed to sketches and characters. 

​

To give a touch of internationalism, the format of the show is bilingual in both the Italian and English languages whereby the Italian acts perform in Italian and the “foreign” special guests perform in English.

This show is a good platform for all acts. The Italians can try some new material, sometimes even improvised, and the English speaking acts can challenge themselves with their tested material in front of an Italian crowd. ​

Through the years, Romina has been flanked in the project by Giada Garofalo, who is one of the resident acts as well as a professional photographer for the night and in charge of the visual and design.

Besides, part of the Puma group we had several acts who joined the club and became THE RESIDENTs!

The London Puma did live shows for nearly five years in different venues in London and beyond  Furthermore, in 2015 we participated to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to accalaimed success. Although, the night was going very well, on the 7th October 2016 ​The London Puma closed its doors for the live venue shows. However, it has now started again, in a very new style! Now The London Puma is ONLINE on YOUTUBE, and the audience can follow us from every part in the world!
